I knew nothing about her, but I loved her work on the Calculated Risk blog. And 47 is way, way too young to go.

Sadly I was not familiar with her writing until I'd heard over at the crack den that she'd passed away.
It's our loss. Now that I've read some of her stuff, I am ever more saddened.
